Artist: Jennifer Lobsenz

Born and raised in Seattle, Jennifer Lobsenz has recently relocated to Atlanta and is excited to be here.  She earned her bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of St Andrews (Scotland), her master's degree in Culture and Difference from Durham University (England), and has spent several years working in the fine arts photography world, as well as in other fields.  Her chosen form for creative expression is traditional photography, an increasingly lonely medium in this digital age!  She is grateful to WonderRoot and the Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta for inviting her to participate in this wonderful collaborative project.

Kaleb C.

Kaleb is 13 years old and has been a member of the James T. Anderson Club for seven years.  His favorite club activity is Kiwanis Kids Cultural Challenge and he especially loves the performance (dancing) piece of the event.  He says that BGCMA has helped him overcome his shyness, meet new people and make new friends; he’s no longer afraid to display his talents.  For him, the best part of BGCMA is the emphasis on education and the programs that help him prepare for a successful future.
