Artist: Jennifer Lobsenz

Born and raised in Seattle, Jennifer Lobsenz has recently relocated to Atlanta and is excited to be here.  She earned her bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of St Andrews (Scotland), her master's degree in Culture and Difference from Durham University (England), and has spent several years working in the fine arts photography world, as well as in other fields.  Her chosen form for creative expression is traditional photography, an increasingly lonely medium in this digital age!  She is grateful to WonderRoot and the Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta for inviting her to participate in this wonderful collaborative project.

Inspiration:
Parris B.

Parris is 15 years old and has been a member of the James T. Anderson Club for nine years.  His favorite club activity is College Bound, because he feels lucky to be able to participate in a program that provides information on colleges and tips for applying and securing scholarships.  He says that BGCMA has provided him with a comfortable place away from home that kept him on the right track, gave him a place to learn, have fun and meet new friends.  For him, the best part of BGCMA is the feeling of family.
